Clock Work Couture -- Original Collage on Canvas

This is a Steampunk inspired original collage entitled Clockwork Couture, also named after one of my favorite online stores!
It is 11 x 14" on canvas and features vintage reproduction Paris paper and vintage 1920's sheet music with altered images of a Victorian era gentleman and also a lady and cherub with altered pieces assembled. The piece has received multiple layers of different paint and patina, giving it an aged sepia patina with gold highlights. The piece has been finished on the edges with black acrylic paint and then sealed with a modge podge finisher.
This piece is ready to be mounted on your wall and ready to be displayed. It will never be reproduced and is entirely original!
The "Tarot" Shadow Box Assemblage

Original assemblage of my personal interpretation of various tarot cards. Definitely a conversation piece! Piece features an antique (hand patina added) shadow box with small tarot cards. Each box or tarot card has found objects that I associated with it. A feast for the eyes!!! Will display equally as well on a wall or on a shelf. Ready to hang and one of a kind!
Strange: Altered Birdcage Assemblage 2010

Over 15" tall is this wonderful assemblage. Strange in nature, thus a fitting name for this piece. I assembled this piece over a number of months. The red wooden birdcage was found at a thriftstore. Inside the birdcage is moss and the trapped little "lady bird" It is an altered bird with an antique (1920's - 1940's era) dollhead. Her face is haunting. On top of the birdcage is a composition antique dollhead. It is chipped and shows its age. Mounted onto the head of this creepy head is a birdnest filled with newspaper, moss, an egg and even a vintage brooch piece. The silver tag "strange" is affixed to it. Nice details were provided in this piece and it will show nicely on a fireplace ledge, shelf or in your curio cabinet. A curiosity indeed!

Beautiful rectangular shadowbox with haunting hand drawn image of Saint Bernadette. Collaged over black fabric with Mexican paper and adorned with "skullerfly" butterflies, red roses, small bone skulls, and two smaller compartments up top with vintage religious cards, framed with mirrored tiles and one large stamped metal heart millagro.
Sure to be a focal point anywhere you hang!
