Conjoined
$35

Conjoined" and is a tribute to the bygone antique circus performers, such as the Conjoined Twins who are pictured on this necklace.

Dangling from the twins is a repurposed piece of jewelry which has rhinestones and a little lady bug dangling from it. It is copper in tone and is really beautiful! The piece hangs on an upcycled rosary style beaded chain with varying sizes of plastic beads in reds, oranges, browns, teals, reds and yellows and golds. Strange: Altered Birdcage Assemblage 2010
sorry this piece is sold!
Over 15" tall is this wonderful assemblage. Strange in nature, thus a fitting name for this piece. I assembled this piece over a number of months. The red wooden birdcage was found at a thriftstore. Inside the birdcage is moss and the trapped little "lady bird" It is an altered bird with an antique (1920's - 1940's era) dollhead. Her face is haunting. On top of the birdcage is a composition antique dollhead. It is chipped and shows its age. Mounted onto the head of this creepy head is a birdnest filled with newspaper, moss, an egg and even a vintage brooch piece. The silver tag "strange" is affixed to it. Nice details were provided in this piece and it will show nicely on a fireplace ledge, shelf or in your curio cabinet. A curiosity indeed!

Freak Show! sold!
"Freak Show" My sideshow inspired piece has been created from antique and vintage parts, including a beautiful repurposed rosary. The piece has a Southern Gothic Carnivale/Mardi Gras Voodoo Theme. I am sure you will love it as much as I do!
This altered piece of jewelry made with vintage and repurposed bits from my travels has been constructed and made to be one of a kind. It is a treasure trove for the eyes and will be cherished heirloom piece for years to come. While it is fragile in nature, it is meant to be worn and so long as it is stored carefully, it should last you many years to come.
The focal for this piece is the repurposed formica scrap which has a copper patina on it which I have soldered and carefully attached a vintage upcycled brass frame to. Inside the brass frame is a 1.5" long resin birdskull. There are little Swarovski Crystals in the eyes for a beautiful touch. Hanging from the ornately framed birdskull focal is a beautiful golden yellow tassel that is 6" long and of course the beautiful 2.5" cross which has tiny black and white crystals in it. (note since this is repurposed there are a couple of missing stones in the cross). The piece is attached to a repurposed rosary chain in beautiful silvers and blacks. The chain is 24" long.
This piece is striking! It would be beautiful as a Mardi Gras piece, but equally as striking with any Gothic or Victorian or Steampunk ensemble. It is one of a kind and you will be sure to receive many compliments from this hand crafted one of a kind piece

The Conjoined Triplets $65

This is one of my new pieces made from repurposed and vintage pieces entitled "Conjoined Triplets" It is has been created from upcycled pieces, including a beautiful hand etched and antiqued vintage copper pendant, a vintage locket, vintage photo, and a wonderful piece of taxidermy! The piece has a wonderful Victorian feel to it with a macabre Southern Gothic Carnivale/Mardi Gras edge. I am sure you will love it as much as I do!
The focal for this piece is the large repuposed copper piece which I filed, sanded and then etched with a vintage face of a mysterious lady. I antiqued and added a nice patina to her and then framed and soldered her in vintage antiqued copper. Hanging from her is a vintage locket, copper in color with a vintage reproduced photo of conjoined triplets from a Circus Sideshow. The photo has been hand crackled and antiqued. When the locket opens, you will find a small tiny taxidermy skeleton "rat paw" placed softly on a bed of moss. Its a hidden little macabre treasure for you! The beautifully etched pendant is 2.5" long by 1.5" wide and the locket is 1.25" in diameter.
The chain on this piece is gorgeous! It has has been placed on a wonderful repurposed double beaded dark and light amber colored chain with silver toned links, much like a rosary chain. It also is complete with four light amber crystals sunken into bezels on the chain. The crystals are beautifully cut. Also adorning the chain where the chain meets the pendant is a single piece of vintage overdyed tea stained ribbon and lace. The chain is 16" long and closes firmly with a nice silver lobster clasp. The piece is hung sturdily with copper jump rings and the piece has a distinct Victorianesque appeal and look to it.
This piece is striking to say the least! It would be beautiful as a Mardi Gras piece, but equally as striking with any Gothic or Victorian or Steampunk ensemble. It is truly a one of a kind artisan piece with hours of work put into it! I love creating unique and creative pieces such as this.
